I'm Peeling Good

A bit of a beauty review for you now.
I bought this peel off mask from Superdrug about a month ago and I have been using it about 3 times a week since then.
It's the Cucumber Peel Off Mask which only costs £2.59.
It's part of Superdrug's own brand selection which I have used before.

The directions say to apply an even layer onto clean, dry skin.
Now I found it quite tricky to apply a thin layer because the product is quite gloopy and thick. I just applied the thinnest layer I could and then spread it round my face.

When I applied it, it smelled lovely and refreshing but the smell did start to become a bit strong and did make my eyes water after initial application.
It took just seconds to apply and the average drying time has been 10 minutes which is pretty good.

And the results?
Well it really does leave your skin feeling fresh and clear if you can manage to get it off in one go. I found that it came off in clumps and left little bits on my face.
And as for vibrant?
It made my nose go red. That's vibrant right? Perhaps a little too much.
After about 10 minutes the redness settled down and I noticed that my skin felt much softer and had a nice glow to it.

A bit more about the product itself.
The price is brilliant and you really do get a great product.
The bottle is nice and compact which makes it easy to store or even to take with you.
Superdrug is against animal testing which means all their on brand products are cruelty free (Hooray!).

Another thing worth noting is that the product contains no parabens.
Parabens are a typical cosmetic chemical used as a preservative but they have been subject to much controversy.
In my opinion, if you can find an alternative product that doesn't contain parabens, then do.
It's better to be safe than sorry.

Price: 5/5
Quality: 4/5
Effectiveness: 5/5

Now although there are some issues, the product description doesn't claim to do things that it doesn't.
It does everything it advertises so for that, it scores a massive 14/15!

Thanks for reading
