Beauty You Can Put Your Trust In*

Today I wanted to share with you a skincare brand that I think is fantastic.

My Trusty Skincare is an NHS brand which is now available in stores and pharmacies nationwide.
The range was developed and tested by Salisbury NHS foundation skincare scientists to provide better care for our skin. They were unhappy with current skincare brands so worked to create their own. It is suitable for the whole family including babies over 8 weeks and pregnant women!

Their aim is to put hydration back into the skin using a natural sunflower oil enriched formula. Effective hydration is key to beautiful skin. It contains essential fatty acids which help to nourish and repair the skin. As well as intense skin hydration the formula is dermatologically tested and clinically proven to help reduce the appearance of scars.
It is suitable for all skin types as it has a low viscosity and doesn't clog the pores. I find that because I have combination skin I have to change my skincare products around throughout the year but this is working so well for me.

Another benefit is you can choose from fragrance free or essential oil scented. There are no artificial perfumes in sight!
All of the products are also free from parabens and SLS (sodium lauryl sulphates).

So let me show you the products individually and tell you a bit about them.

My Trusty Sunflower Body Lotion.
RRP £6

This comes in either fragrance free or lavender (you know I'm so into my lavender right now).

This cream can be used on the body and the face. It's ideal for itchy, dry, sensitive skin. It soaks right in and doesn't leave any greasy residue. This is a skin saviour for those with eczema.

My Trusty Sunflower Hand Cream.
RRP £4

This is a really silky, soft formula that coats the hands in sunflower goodness.

My hands have never been softer. It's really good at providing instant relief for dry hands. The lavender oil in this is really soothing (and it smells like Sudocrem so yay for that).

My Trusty Sunflower Body Butter.
RRP £9

This is packed with bergamot, neroli and orange essential oils which bring their own benefits to the mix.

The body butter is a lot thicker than your usual and it is perfect for the feet. It provides super hydration and is great to apply just before you to bed. It's a wonderful formula that really works.

My Trusty Face and Body Oil.
RRP £9

This product contains rose, neroli, bergamot and rosemary oil. This oil is really light and doesn't clog your pores.

I have been using it at night as part of my night time routine. It's becoming a firm favourite. It has a nice consistency which settles really nicely on the skin. It can be used as a primer to apply under your makeup, It gives you a great base.

On to the best part.

My Trusty is the first NHS skincare brand that is available to buy.
But it gets better. The profits from every single purchase goes straight back into the NHS.

So not only do you get high standard skincare, you're giving back to the NHS. Win win!

You can purchase the My Trusty range at Superdrug*, health and wholefood stores nationwide and independent pharmacies. To find stockists in your area visit www.mytrustyskincare.co.uk.

* Superdrug have a third off the range at the moment so pop over to their site if you want to get your hands on them!

I was kindly sent some samples by My Trusty. I absolutely love the idea of this brand and think more should join in. Let's give moisture back to our skin and profits back to the NHS.

    1. I absolutely love the hand cream. I don't usually use hand creams because they don't rub in properly but this one is brilliant. My hands are super soft!
